There's a new law going into effect Sept. 1, called "Twogether Texas." It doubles the cost of a wedding license. But if you take 8 hours of "relationship training," your wedding license is free! Having been through marriage classes prior to getting hitched (some 19 years ago, so it must be working) I think this is a great idea.

Don't panic if a large crowd of musicians and dancers comes plowing through your neighborhood Sept.13. It's just Hebron High School Marching Band's annual March-a-thon.
The event, held in Carrollton's Homestead subdivision, will include performances from the band and color guard.
